Emtar Technologies Participates in Team Canada Trade Mission to South Korea
Emtar Technologies Inc. participated in the Team Canada Trade Mission to South Korea, held from March 30 to April 2, 2026, as part of Canada’s aerospace sector delegation. The mission, led by Maninder Sidhu, brought together Canadian companies, government representatives, and industry partners to strengthen commercial ties and explore opportunities in one of Asia’s most advanced technology markets.
Throughout the mission, Emtar engaged with stakeholders across South Korea’s space and advanced technology ecosystem through a structured program of sector sessions, networking events, and pre arranged business to business meetings. The program also included site visits and industry briefings, providing insights into Korea’s evolving capabilities in aerospace and next generation ICT systems .
A key highlight of the mission was Emtar’s participation in a British Columbia led networking event, where Founder and CEO Alvis Huang was invited as a panel speaker. The session brought together leaders across aerospace, ICT, and clean technology sectors to share practical perspectives on market entry, financing, and international collaboration.
During the discussion, Emtar shared its perspective on the increasing importance of semiconductor technologies within satellite communications systems. As space based connectivity continues to evolve, the integration of advanced semiconductor solutions, particularly in areas such as beamforming, is becoming a critical enabler of next generation networks, including emerging 6G non terrestrial infrastructure.
In addition to formal sessions, Emtar focused on advancing discussions with potential partners and identifying areas for future collaboration. These interactions provided further perspective on Korea’s rapidly evolving innovation landscape and helped inform the company’s approach to international expansion.
Emtar’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to advancing satellite communication semiconductor technologies and expanding its global partnerships.
